I was asked to create a .gif of a house interior during an earthquake. The article chronicles the controversial aftermath of the devastating quake that happened in L’Aquila, Italy in 2009. I wanted to capture the movement of the “tremors” before the full-on earthquake, although this tremor is infinite, never resolving.
This image and the all the animation was made in Photoshop. thanks AD Erich Nagler!
Burritos and hot dogs!
Tonight Rachel made burritos and I had a burrito for the first time, and I made hot dogs and she had a (vegan) hot dog for the first time. She makes a damn fine vegan burrito, and she enjoyed the hot dogs I prepared too, which is great but even more awesome because she said she didn’t like regular hot dogs when she used to eat meat. #VEGETABLESOVERMEAT
Also I’d like to thank fellow vegan Frank (willilist) for giving me the idea to put avocado on hot dogs. ^__^
remember when you put your glasses on for the first time and you realized you could see leaves on trees
Famous for its scenery, cinematography, and near complete lack of special effects (almost exclusively used simply to remove bystanders from shots), The Fall was filmed over a period of four years in over twenty countries, including India, Namibia, South Africa, Italy, and Indonesia. One review said, “See it for no other reason than because it exists. There will never be another like it.”
